Чем тут жить и за что умирать: Качественная эволюция: Чем дальше заходит игра, тем чаще среди врагов встречаются редкие и легендарные особи. Здоровья и урона у них — выше крыши. Новые породы тварей: К обычным тварям добавились бронированные «Щелкуны». Медленные, живучие и с крайне неприятной устойчивостью к лазерам. Продвинутый ИИ (Rampant): Мозги у врагов работают на совесть. Они ищут слабые места в обороне, атакуют издалека, роют подкопы под стенами и водой, а гнезда со временем мутируют. Геймплей: Одна линия стен с турелями тут не поможет. Комбинируйте оружие, укрепляйтесь с умом и готовьтесь к тому, что враг будет лезть отовсюду. В начале пути дадут передышку, но финал будет жарким.
